The China-Netherlands Dialogue is a world-first project uniting top young innovators, business leaders, policy makers and NGO leaders from China with their Dutch peers to tackle Chinese social challenges and create solutions for a broad range of themes and industries, culminating in a week’s visiting program in the Netherlands or 2-3 days summit in China, and combining extensive media exposure through RNW’s Chinese website (Helan Online), social media platforms and Chinese mass media partners.
We believe we can give China and the Netherlands the change we need. We believe we can have a bright future and a better life to bring China and the Netherlands together by deepening skills and sharing experience, supporting face-to face dialogue, developing real people connections and expanding potential for ongoing collaboration.
“中荷对话”项目由荷兰在线主办，系全球首个旨在通过对话来共同探讨中荷在各个领域及其行业所面临的社会挑战并寻求解决之道的文化交流项目，该项目致力于为中荷两国年轻的创新者、企业家、NGO行业领袖等搭建面对面零距离沟通和经验分享的平台，每期关注一个社会议题，通过为期一周的跨国互访参观活动或2-3天的行业峰会，并结合荷兰在线及旗下社交媒体平台和中荷合作媒体的密集呈现，为中国和荷兰社会带来期望中的改变。

The China-Netherlands Dialogue is organized several times per year. In the future, China-Netherlands Dialogue will continue in a broad range of key sectors and issues, including clean water, food safety, environment and sustainability, Education and healthcare etc., with the overall goal to strengthen exchange of experience and expertise between China and the Netherlands.

The second China-Netherlands Dialogue project in May 2015 will focus on Women’s Rights in the workplace because this social issue has an intriguing history and a challenging present in China. Together with the following four influential female change-makers, who each represent the diverse challenges apparent in Chinese society, the second China-Netherlands Dialogue project aims to facilitate dialogue, encourage the exchange of personal stories, knowledge and experience, and raise the general public awareness of gender equality in the workplace in China and the Netherlands.
第二届“中荷对话”项目将于2015年5月举办。今年的“中荷对话”将把目光投向职场中的女性权益——在中国，这是一个有着耐人寻味的过去、也在当下颇具挑战性的社会议题。本届“中荷对话”项目有幸邀请到了四位极具影响力的中国女性，她们不仅有着革新的勇气和能量，且代表了当下中国社会在不同领域所面临的挑战。“中荷对话”将与她们携手致力于促成中荷社会各界的对话沟通，藉此交换故事、见解及经验，唤起中国和荷兰公众对于职场性别平等的意识。

For the second China-Netherlands Dialogue, during 18th May to 22nd May, these four guests will be taking part in a variety of events including a discussion of women’s rights in Netherlands in practice with the Dutch Human Rights Commission and the Dutch Gender Platform, visiting a safe house for victims of domestic violence, visiting the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dutch Parliament, a round table with Dutch and Chinese leading female entrepreneurs, meeting with representatives from the European Parliament, European Commission and Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, two public speeches at the Leiden University and Erasmus Center for Women and Organization and the Asia Carrousel debate.
在2015年5月近一周的参观访问活动中，来自欧洲议会、欧盟委员会、荷兰外交部、荷兰文化部、荷兰议会和荷兰人权委员会等的官员和代表将向四位嘉宾介绍荷兰乃至欧洲在倡导和保护女性权益方面的历史和现状；来自荷兰性别平等平台等NGO的领袖们将与嘉宾们分享荷兰职场性别平等方面的经验和做法；除此之外，四位嘉宾还将有机会参观访问荷兰家庭暴力受害人庇护所、荷兰性别平等和女性历史研究所档案馆并前往荷兰莱顿大学和鹿特丹伊拉斯姆斯大学做主题演讲。

The first China-Netherlands Dialogue was launched in August 2014 and focused on LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and transgender) rights in China and the Netherlands. RNW’s China Desk invited 8 Chinese prominent LGBT rights activists and bloggers come to the Netherlands to participate one week’s varied activities including Amsterdam Gay Pride, workshop with COC Nederland, meeting with Amsterdam vice mayor and Rutgers WPF etc. The first China-Netherlands Dialogue project generated around 5 million page views and 2 thousand comments on RNW’s Chinese website and its social media channels, and six Chinese language media covered the event.
“中荷对话”项目于2014年8月启动，首届“中荷对话”的关注议题为中国和荷兰LGBT群体的权益（女同性恋者，男同性恋者，双性恋者，跨性别者）。荷广中文部邀请了8位顶尖LGBT活动人士和博主访问了荷兰，在为期一周的活动中，他们不仅亲身经历了阿姆斯特丹同性恋大游行，而且参与了荷兰LGBT机构的工作坊、会见了阿姆斯特丹副市长等等。首届“中荷对话”项目在荷广中文网及其社交媒体平台上获得了多达五百万的点击量和两千余条评论，另有六家中文媒体报道了此次活动。
