Xiong Qiao is editor/journalist at Tencent Weibo. Chinese LGBT groups call her “the most LGBT friendly media-person”. She also hosts an interview program, inviting specialists/experts to talk about sexual rights issues. She used to work for “Beijing News”, one of the most influential newspapers in China. At the time, she was actively promoting the positive image of LGBT groups. She also reported the first publically wedded homosexual couple in China. Working at Tencent Weibo now, she continues her effort in promoting social understanding of LGBT groups in China.
