Christine Liu is an entrepreneur and advocate for women’s issues. She held leadership positions in multi-national companies ranging from luxury fashion to pharmaceuticals for over 20 years. Currently, she is senior consultant for Asian affairs at Silkroute Strategists, bringing brands to markets around the world, and she is developing a line of high-end fashion accessories.
Christine Liu is also the founder of sHero, a social enterprise which seeks to inspire working women achieve a balance in their personal and professional lives. sHero’s motto is: ‘When you educate a man, you educate a man. When you educate a woman, you educate a generation.’ In 2007, Christine Liu started Women empowering Women, a dialogue connecting extraordinary women and remarkable professionals.
